Nicole Kintop Smith, owner of Kintop Smith, brings 15 years of legal experience, including over a decade of finance experience.  Nicole previously practiced for over 6 years with McCall, Parkhurst & Horton, L.L.P., one of the country’s preeminent law firms in public finance.

Nicole’s recent experience includes public finance, infrastructure finance and securities law matters, serving as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriters’ counsel in bond financings to various public entities, financial institutions and investment banks. Nicole has experience working on innovative and significant infrastructure projects ranging from toll roads, railways, and airports to water and wastewater, schools, higher education, fire and public safety facilities, real estate development projects, and affordable housing and senior living facilities. Nicole’s experience also includes working with real estate developers on special district creation and other land use and economic development incentive matters.

Prior to joining McCall Parkhurst in 2013, Nicole practiced with leading boutique firms in Dallas, Texas and Milwaukee, Wisconsin managing public finance, real estate, general corporate transactional and civil litigation matters.

Nicole is a former real estate broker with acquisition and disposition of property and strong deal execution experience.  Nicole is also a former litigator and appellate court briefing attorney with first-chair jury trial experience.  Upon obtaining her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, she served as a law clerk for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.  Nicole graduated, Valedictorian, from Lane College.
